Korea. The hairpieces are then sewn together in China. Each hairpiece has 'memory curl fiber', which means even after being washed they hold their original curl. Because Youngblood Haircutters
specializes in hairpieces for IRISH STEP DANCERS, all of our hairpieces have appropriate curls for feiseanna and performances. Hairpieces can be cut shorter, if desired.
How to Match your Hair to our Hairpiece
For a $25 charge we will ship you a complete color swatch of all of our colors. When you return the swatch we will credit you $20. Included with your swatch will be our catalog, care instructions,
and how to attach your hairpiece. After you get the swatch, pull the persons hair back away from their face and match the swatch to the front hair that will be showing. If you are torn
between two colors it is generally best to go with the lighter of the two. If the person has highlighted hair we have several highlighted shades, these swatches are the ones that have two
colors on them. When you order one of the highlighted shades, the two colors on the swatch will be mixed together in the hairpiece. If we do not have your highlighted shade, and particularly
if you are matching your hairpiece in the winter when hair tends to be darker, match hairpiece to the lighter hair in the front. Never match hairpiece to the ends of the hair. Taking your
swatch to your dance studio and putting a group order together is a great way to save money, and help out other frustrated mothers and dancers.
How to Order
When you have decided on your style of hairpiece and the color, call Terry Kelley at YOUNGBLOOD HAIRCUTTERS and order over the phone. We accept VISA or MASTER CARD. We take all orders over
the phone to insure your credit card safety, and to answer any questions you may have. We ship PRIORITY MAIL or FedEx for a small fee.
f you wear your hairpiece daily, wash it once a month. If you wear your hairpiece only occasionally wash it once a year or when it
starts losing its curl.
Every time you wear the hairpiece, spray three squirts of Wig Conditioner and three squirts of Wig Sheen Spray and
gently scrunch the the hairpiece to distribute both products. Wait five minutes to let the hairpiece dry. Untangle any curls that got matted while wearing it, using your fingers. Reform
curls on your finger and store the hairpiece back in the plastic bag.
Never use heat on the hairpiece (hot rollers, curling irons, blow dryers etc...) Heat will damage your hairpiece. You may use
sponge rollers to loosen the curl. Remember - your hairpiece has "memory curl fiber" so it will not lose its curl or shape if you take proper care of it.
When shampooing, mix 2-3 capfuls of Wig Shampoo in cold water and let soak for ten minutes. Rinse hairpiece in cold water thoroughly and spray with Wig Conditioner and Wig
Sheen Spray. Do not finger or pic-out hairpiece when it is wet. Roll hairpiece up gently in a towel to gently blot water out. Hang hairpiece up to dry away from heat
or anything that could damage it. (The cat, bird, dog, etc...) After hairpiece is dry, untangle curls and reform curls on your fingers as needed.
